Finca San Isidro is owned by Ernesto Ruiz and resides in the town of San Isidro de Heredia in the Central Valley of Costa Rica. Sitting at around 1350 meters above sea level, San Isidro has 17 hectares of coffee shrubs and produces a handful of varietals, with this lot being Caturra & Catuai. Lots are kept separate by varietal and growing location and are promptly taken to a mill located nearby for processing.

This lot is very fruit forward and sweet. There's a ton of rip stonefruit and berry jams, with a sugary sweet white chocolate note in the finish. As the coffee cools we taste a ton of tart fruits like pomegranate, kiwi and green apple. Overall a very clean natural with lots of interesting complexities!
