Cocoa - Strawberry - Starburst

Finca La Guachoca sits at the foothills of El Salvador's Cerro Verde volcano in the fertile Apaneca Ilamatepec mountain range. It's owned and operated by the Pacas family, who have been producing coffee in the area since 1905. The farm is named after the quail-like Quachoca bird that is native to the region and often sighted on the farm.

The Pacas family has put in a ton of work to revitalize the quality of the coffee being produced on the farm and are constantly striving for higher yields of exceptional coffee.

This coffee is 100% Orange Bourbon varietal and has a lot of great fruited sweetness as a brewed coffee. We tasted starburst, fresh fruits like strawberries and blueberries, cocoa powder and sweet milk chocolate. The overall profile is super rounded and sweet but there's some interesting clove and allspice flavors in there as well. The finish is cinnamon and toasted malt. Also works lovely as an espresso!
